FMCSA-Certified Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) – Hazardous Materials (H) Endorsement
If you’re seeking to add a Hazardous Materials (H) Endorsement to your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), this federally approved training is required before you can take the HazMat knowledge exam. Once you complete the course, your results are electronically submitted to the FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR). Testing centers will confirm your course completion through the TPR system prior to administering your exam.
Special Note for Washington State Applicants:
While this program fulfills the national ELDT theory requirement for the HazMat endorsement, Washington State mandates an additional 16-hour state-specific course to be eligible for testing.
